Message	doesn't give two shits about how "distinctive" the acoustical signature is. It counts the number of times the knock sensor exceeds its threshold resistance, and that's *all*. It may get noisy up on the plenum, but I doubt it'll miss something as loud as a detonation (being conducted up through metal). Your powers are useless! I'm wearing my tinfoil underwear!
